About Christina Tolstrup

Christina Tolstrup is a registered practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture. Her qualifications include a Bachelor Degree of Health Science in Chinese Medicine (acupuncture and herbal medicine) and a Diploma of Traditional Chinese Remedial Massage (An Mo Tui Na), as well as training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage.

Originally from Denmark, Christina worked in the travel industry both overseas and in Australia before settling in Melbourne. Becoming a mother made her realise that exploring the human body and mind, and what constitutes illness and health, can be just as fascinating as discovering the World’s many different countries.

She has now been involved in complimentary health care for several years, is passionate about holistic health, and strongly believes Chinese medicine can be effective in treating a diverse range of conditions. She especially enjoys creating and promoting increased body awareness in clients to help alleviate their ailments and enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.

Treatments with Christina are individually prescribed and generally involve a combination of acupuncture, massage, cupping, and Chinese herbal medicine, as well as diet and lifestyle advice.
